I'm looking for spade connectors to use on an atlas switch machine.  Is an M3 spade connector the same size as the Atlas #3 spade connector?  Atlas does not provide data on their connector. I was able to find M3 spade connectors that have a width of 0.13 inches (3.4 mm) between prongs (inside) and 0.2 inches (5.2 mm) outside width of two prongs.  Will these fit an atlas switch machine?

Can someone measure the outside and inside widths of the Atlas #3 connector?  It most apreciated!

thanks!

Well I'd of thought you would have had an answer by this time.

For the Atlas #52 LH and #53 RH switch machine.

Here you go, ATLAS #201, SPADE CONNECTOR #3.

the spade OA Width is .215''

the inside (screw slot) measurement is .109'' wide and is .150'' deep.

the OAL is .517''.

Below are two Atlas #3 spade connectors and one Atlas flat connector. You can see the two different connectors have the same width and screw size opening.

The screws for the switch machine are of course a #3 screw with a 3-48 thread and shows a .099 shank diameter.
