Hello All,

Take a look at A-Line/Arrow Hobby's website, under Railroad Products > Repowering Parts > Re-Powering Parts & Repowering "How To Book" (This Page).

They have several parts kits for different applications.

If you are not confident in the upgrading process they also offer a book specifically for Tuning-Upgrading & Re-powering Your Athearn Locomotive.

You might want to invest in this book before ordering parts if you have any doubts.

Hope this helps.

https://rab831.wixsite.com/rickstraindepot/athearn-parts Try this website under Athearn parts for sd40-2. Do you have an actual part number or photo of what you need? I have some Athearn parts and @20 of those engines going back to their beginning. Good luck

Top right corner, click on "Contact Me" and it opens your email app with his email address pre-loaded.
