I have the Kato N City of Los Angeles train.
I'm wondering if anyone has replaced the Kato couplers with anything else. I continue to have problems getting the cars together, keeping them together, or getting them apart.
Several of the cars have truck mounted couplers, and several have car mounted.
I'm wondering how hard it would be to change these. I've never done this before, and with N scale, I'm a little leary that I may be asking for more trouble than I can handle.
