I've not seen the color covers, but it sounds like you are looking for equipment Folio booklets. I've seen SP locomotive folios and have several in .pdf format.

Hello all hope all is well with my forum friends.
I was wondering dose anyone remember a small like booklet,Southern Pacific they were different colors. I remember seeing them at a library where I use to live in Southern Califonia,The ones I saw were in red and blueish green I do not know the name of them.Anyway where online if can I find these SP booklets they had locomotives. An rolling stock in the boolets such as freight cars an passenger cars,Thank you all cheers.
