I liked this one. It's fun to look for it and to find it. Easy or difficult, I like the idea.
I liked the one last year, too.

I liked the one a couple years ago with the device that required you to shovel coal to keep steam locomotives running.
I mean, is that that different than the guys that have a whole 737 flight deck in their basement to run flight simulator software on?
So what I'm hearing is another lame April's Fool (I'm old school, haven't received my issue yet). Hmm, wasn't last year's the somewhat obvious "light bridge spanning a doorway" spoof? And before that...nothing (in keeping with the general 2020 tone), so they could retool for a better future?
Maybe they should go retro with the semi-plausible spoofs of yore that make you question is this a joke or real....How about thin-set OLED covering allowing you to update your rolling stock to handle patch-puts, mergers, heritage units, and graffiti as time progresses without needing messy painting and redecaling (this could handle changing advertising wraps on your scale LRTs and commuter trains)...Or announce a new entry in the "MR Guide To Industries Series" - "MSW and You", covering household garbage with containers, compacted sewage handling, and dried sludge trains. Includes a chapter on historic offal haulage with gondolas...Or the new eBay store program starting up - physical distribution outlets located in population centers which would allow customers to view and handle many items up close, and even purchase items on the spot to take with them. Its the new 21st Century L-H-S initiative...Or, spoofing to the extreme (as we used to say in the '90s) - announce the FCC has reviewed and approved the proposed merger of Kalmbach Media and White River Productions.
What would be epic is using a potato for giving a handheld controller power.
Well they must have run out of plausible ideas because to me it appeared stupid from the headline onward.
Hello All,
Rambo2...wont say i did fall for it haha...
Well of course!!!
These pre-production units were rife with faults when they were recalled after failure!
It wasn't until the output tremulations were half-synced with the input of the re-counter fibrulations that these units were able to be used.
Some believed that these units weren't appropriate for electrical, inter-urban use.
These people were quickly shouted down and the units were installed, despite the mysterious disappearance of pets along the rights-of-way.
As far as upgrading, the only way was to retrofit the newer systems to the older ones that couldn't accommodate the grandfathered specs for the original production dates of the semi-faulty units.
Mounting them to the fireman's side is only true if the counterbalanced sublimation circuit is run counterclockwise (not as pictured) and the modulating/pass-through valves are set to passive accumulation versus active deflexion (not seen).
Hope this helps.

I believe that there was an actual ad for the supposed April Fools item, in the last year.
doctorwayneI dunno, but given today's date, it seems more like March Fools Day.
Right I haven't received the April mag yet, so I looked at it in the archives. It seems to be pretty obvious.

Have to say I thought it was pretty obvious from the start. Didn't fall for it. But I appreciate the effort.
