Thank you. I'll stop looking for it.

The article in the January 2012 MR by Pelle Soeborg is for a fascia-mounted control panel. There are no dimensions other than the thickness of the aluminum (5/64")
I probably only need to read a couple of sentences from an article:
peahrens My DCC HO layout panel is made per a MR article of early 2012, I recall. The face is aluminum sheet, maybe 5/32" IIRC. Used to control my Tortoise switch machines, plus power LEDs for my 3 subdistricts.

I want to build a panel on a frame like this and want to know the dimensions. If I can't find the article for free I'll just wing it.
The digital archives on this website has it - for a fee but it is access to ALL past issues of MR back ti 1934.
Take a look HERE Archives - Trains

Having said that I recently recommended the Archives to someone who was looking for scale drawings of the C&NW J-4 2-8-4. It turns out that the person or robot doing the scanning those many years ago botched the scan and only half of Robert Hundman's drawing was visible (I assume the very old 1938 drawing could be found but it would not be accurate enough for this person's purposes).
This is not the first I have heard of missing pages in the supposed complete Archives but it is the best available source for old issues, unless you frequent big train shows in which case that issue may well be sitting on a table marked "free." I replaced some of my damaged issues just a week ago at a train show and paid nothing.

I want to read an article that was in the January 2012 issue of Model Railroader. Is there an online site that would have it?
