Has anyone purchased any products from Boston & albany Hobbies. How reliable, trustworthy and quickly does he fill your order? He has a couple of items that I might be interested in.
Since you’ve not had any responses, I guess that means that everyone else is like me and has never heard of them.
I googled them and it looks like they have a spot in a convenience store.
I assume you are N scale because that was all I saw on their website.
There was also a statement about ordering anything you want, so I guess that means that you need to see if what you want is really in stock.
And lastly, there was another statement stating that the owner was going to be away for two weeks. Made it sound like a one-person operation.
Maybe by me bumping this you’ll get a more informed answer from a real Maine-iac. (or is it New Hampshire-iac?)
I have never heard of them. Where are they out of?

I have never mail ordered anything from Boston and Albany Hobbies but I have made a few purchases from them at the Amherst MR show. They are usually located in the Better Living Building. Just checked the 2022 vendor list and they are listed. Their booth is usually staffed by a gentleman and his mother, very amiable people. They have a nice selection in N and HO. I hope this helps. I beleive they have a store front in NH.
