I mean, BLI did do them, but I was unimpressed by them at my LHS. The Paragon decoder was junk out the box. Had to open up 3 just to get a working one for a demo. I want one without the paragon nightmare.

JDawg I mean, if I'm being honest, I would jump at a GP 20 over a GP 30. I very much doubt that scale trains would do it, but, ya know, can't hurt to dream.

Again I hope not. Broadway Limited just came out with a GP20, although with the wrong sound, a non turbocharged 567 included. I would hate to see the same product so close apart.
An "expensive model collector"

I hope not. Rapido just announced they were coming out with a GP38, I would hate to see two of the same models. A GP30 would be nice, as the Proto 2000 ones have lots of room for improvement. I would also buy a GP35, as the Kato and MTH ones are dated, and I would not even bring up the garbage Bachmann Plus model.
Maybe with Scaletrains now owning the MTH HO line, they are redoing the GP35?
I'm hoping for a GP30 done in D&RGW.
Rio Grande. The Action Road - Focus 1977-1983
xboxtravis7992 Maybe the long awaited GP30 from them. I know they got measurements off UP 844 in Nevada once.

If it's a gp30 I hope they do a GN one!
Will that be 'four axle' like UP 838?
I'm hoping for a NYC 4-8-2 L-2a Mohawk with the Elesco FWH over the front brow.
