There is a fix for the Kato couplers to make them work with the MicroTrains couplers. I just saw in on a information update.

see  if I can run it down for you- might take me a bit.

this might make them work better ?

N Scale Couplers
Posted by York1 on Monday, January 10, 2022 3:21 PM

After reading quite a few posts about Kadee HO couplers being the best, I wondered what the best N Scale couplers would be.

I really like my N Scale "City of Los Angeles", but the Kato couplers are hard to work with.  They are hard to couple, and hard to uncouple.  I usually end up taking the cars off the track to disconnect them.  Then, they are very frustrating to get back onto the track and coupled again.

Does anyone know what the best (or at least better) N Scale couplers I could install on my Kato cars to help?
