Thanks for your reply can you post a photo for me so I know how to do it right Thank You?

All of my locos are wired for DCC, and all have a circuit board for lighting, sound, and motor. So, I cannot be much help there.

But, if you can post a photo of your loco with shell removed, I can hopefully draw in the wires to illustrate.

Are there any photos or videos on how to wire the engine witout a circult board?

Without a circuit board, you will not have any control over the lights. So, the wiring is quite simple if the loco is DC powered, two wires from the front truck (red right and black left) and two wires from the rear truck (red right and black left). Join the two red wires together along with one of the two motor wires, and join the two black wires to the other motor wire. If the locomotive runs in the wrong direction, swap the two motor wires. That's it.

MetrolinkFan:

Do you have the box it can in? The instructions shouild be there.

Refer to them on how the rear truck comes off, you might have to remove the driveshaft or unsolder the wires connecting to the motor from the truck.

Hi say dose anyone know how to take off the rear truck for Walther"s. Ho F40PH the drive shaft came loose just now. I got the shell off but can't figure out how to get the rear truck off.Sad

Never mind I was able to fix the drive shaft,I had to take out two tiny. Screws where the ceircult board was and then I. Used long skinny niddle nose plyers and slid the drive shaft back into place. My Walthers F40PH is working now.
