There used to be an excellent online resource for model railroading projects of all types. It was a universal database/index that listed various articles from many different publications including Model Railroader magazine. I know whenever I was going to work on a project for my layout I would look there first to see if any articles were on the subject.
I can't find it anymore, and wondered if anyone else has a link to where it is. Thanks.

Worked OK for me.
MR used to have a pretty comprehensive index covering many magazines from several publishers but it went away.

I tried a few sample searches from the NMRA database that BigDaddy linked to and came up with satisfactory results.
Good Luck, Ed
Tried it with another browser and got the same message
Here's the link for just Model Railroader. Does that work?

No, it does not.
Works for me.
This is what I get:
Check if there is a typo in www.olimpia.com.

THAT is what I am looking for! I thought it used to be on the Model Railroader (Trains.com) website, but I can't find it anymore.
If I remember correctly, some time ago when they updated things, the format of the index would not update.
I also miss the "club" and "event" areas which fell by the wayside the last update. Can't get several other features either.
For computer klutz' like me, updates are a real pain. Maybe someday I can find someone to show me how to find them.
I should retire to the train room in the basement, the only place cool enough to think.
Have fun, (regardless)
