Hey folks,
Are there any decent hobby shops in the Denver area these days? Heading down tomorrow for my wife to do some shopping, and I want to do some shopping too!

Yes. After Caboose closed there is really only one train-only hobby shop in town. They are Rocky Mountain Train supply AKA N Scale supply. They have been around quite a while but have diversified into other scales beyond N Scale.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The only thing I thought was a bit wonky is that you walk through the shipping dept. to get to the "store front".
Ended up buying a Rapido SW-1200 and a Athearn GP-7 while I was there.
Its a bit off the beaten path in a industrial type building but a GPS will get you there easy enough.
Hope you like it.

There may be a few others, check the web.
There is a train museum and a model railroad museum in Denver.
Both are closed on Monday, and I was there on a Monday in June.

Living the dream.
Still to this day, so sad that the original Caboose Hobbies closed.
