Thanks for the info. I have considered using the E33 to bash an E44, but we'll have to see if Bachmann gets it right in the first place. Their rerelease of the K4 and the J class 611 STILL leave much to be desired. I got my fingers crossed though!

It would be easier to kitbash a E44 from the Spectrum EL-C, EF-4, E33 ( the Virginian was the first owner, then N&W ( only one was repainted ), then the New Haven ( EF-4 ), then PC and Conrail )

Anyone out there interested in a high quality plastic E44 in HO scale? I've posted requests to a few manufacturers and have gotten the usual runaround. I figure if there is enough interest out there for Spectrum to produce the E33, then why not an E44? Heavy electric fans (in HO) unite!!
