I've seen 2 Genesis Challengers double headed operating at a show. The sound isn't as objectionable as people say. TO ME, the chuff only sounded a little lighter than my BLI AC-5. Not so bad. But, that whistle is as huck as the Lionel's one. Shrill and way lacking in depth.

I know this has been touched upon before as I've read the archives.

For those of you who own the Athearn Challenger what is the sound like? strong points and weak points

Once again thanks
