I've never had a problem with Internet Trains ( http://www.internettrains.com/ ) or ordering direct from Walthers (http://www.walthers.com/).

I'm also looking for a reliable US source for all kinds of MR material. Buying US rolling stock, locomotives and detail parts in Europe (if availble at all) is most times a costly adventure. Does any of you European/EEC forum members have experience with particular US suppliers, particularly as to shipping and security of creditcard payment.

M.B. Klein, aka Modeltrainstuff.com
As an N scaler, I don't have a lot of exposure to the HO retailers, but I know MB is very good across the scales, and at least in N scale, has better prices than Caboose.

I hear many people say good things about Caboose Hobbies. www.caboosehobbies.com
They have a neat search engine for their product catalog. Besides the normal keyword search you can go by scale, road name, or any other catagory.
Hope this helps.

Does anyone know of a good on-line source/store to buy Atlas/Kato diesel locomotives? (besides e-Bay)
One with:
- Good selection, pictures, details
- Low price
- Secure/on-line automated order system
I'm looking to replace my aging fleet of Athearn's with new motive power!
