Advice on using Woodland Scenics "Soft Flake Snow"?
Posted by Benjamin Maggi on Monday, April 26, 2021 12:29 PM

I built a small model of a structure on a display base and I want to add some snow to it. I have never done this before so I purchased some Woodland Scenics' Soft Flake Snow. I would like to know how to secure it so that it won't blow away, and I have heard that some glues turn yellow over time which I want to avoid.

Has anyone used this product before and can you recommend any tips? The model will mostly be stored in a dust-free case so I don't have to worry about people touching it, but it would be nice to not have it all fall off when moving around.

Thanks.

Kathy Millatt did a couple youtubes on a snow dioramma. She compared several different products.  I don't recall the details but t would be worth checking out.

I kid you not.

Ken Patterson just dumps plaster on his scenery, but he is doing one off diorammas for photo shoots.
