Most of my modeling is in G scale these days, much easier to see and handle. I made up this custom LGB coach a few years ago, has Massoth interior LED light circuit and LED rear tail lantern powered by a rechargable 9V battery(I run dead rail). Custom images were printed on my home printer on photo paper and a glue stick used to apply them to a mostly plain white LGB club coach I got really cheap at the LHS. Its not water proof and I want to do it over with proper water slide decals that I can seal to make it water proof. Not sure if our ink jet printer can do decal paper. The coach is coupled to my new Regner live steam tram that I built from a screwdriver/nut runner kit(highly recommended, its a super nice model for the $$). The tram is twin cylinder and geared so its slow and powerful. Enjoy! Mike the Aspie
Silly NT's, I have Asperger's Syndrome
Nice "decalling" . I don't have any G scale stuff, but I'm tempted...

I've used some decal paper from Micro-Mark that works with ink jet printers. I've had good luck by following their directions. I used Testor's Dullcote to seal the decal on the model.
I've never had it out in weather, so I don't know how well it would hold up.
Good luck! Let us know how it comes out.
