Odd search result
Posted by hbgatsf on Saturday, April 10, 2021 11:26 AM

It has been so many years that I had to mix a batch of black wash that I wasn't sure of the ratio.  I thought it was 2 tsp per pint of alcohol but I wanted to check so I did a search for "india".

This was in the results: http://cs.trains.com/members/mumbai-call-girls/default.aspx

Surprise

Edit: I used the insert link function so I don't know why it isn't working.

Your link does work, but it might have been a better choice to also include the word "ink"...it's not that hard to spell, nor will it take up too much time or space.

I've found that search terms which are very specific to what you wish to find will give you better results.

Link can be copied and pasted to your browser. I am not going to make it active here.

It really is about  "Mumbai Call Girls" Obviosly doesn't belong here. Can it be deleted from this site?

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

I think it's funny!   The English was very good until she or he got to "the state of occupancy"  Is that like when you are in the bathroom and someone tries to open the door and you say "Someone is in here"

Do we even have any members who closer than a couple 1000 miles from Mumbai?

Here's an example of the potential problem with the way Kalmbach does things.  Signup is easy and free, scammers by the score register, moderators go through as the fancy takes them and weed out the obvious...

... but in the meantime, come the bots.  And there is no robots.txt protection against a bot scraping Mumbai Call Girls during the time they are there... and, as we know, The Internet Is Forever™ when we don't want it to be...

Look on the bright side: for many years those bots were the only thing letting us search forum community history...

Yes there is more ink than india in india ink.

But let's not assume the Mumbai Call Girls are not model railroaders.  Someone has to be out there using horn hook couplers.

Nobody's going to help me out and confirm whether or not 2 tsp of india ink to a pint of alcohol is the correct formula?

Dave, that one elicited an out-loud chortle!

I wonder if they have take-out?

The rario isn't set in stone.  Start with a light one, then if you think it's too light, add a little more ink.  Be sure to start light, much easier to darken with another coat or two than it  is to try and lighten something if you got it too dark.

Good luck,

Richard
