I've always used imgur, and it works fine for me. Not sure if you have any concerns or issues with imgur, but since I was checking in on the end of the thread, figured I'd offer my 2 cents. Hope you can reslove your problems!

Hi Bear. No it's not your computer. This weeks pictures are small.
I've been having issues either with the Railimages website where I store my pictures when it comes to sizing or with how I'm adding them to the thread. Some weeks everything works as expected and other weeks I just doesn't work. If I try to resize the photos as I add them, they come out blurry. Very frustrating.

Allan: I love short trains. I know a lot of people like big thundering long trains with multiple locomotives, but short locals always have a good story to tell.
Mike: That is a beautiful handsome brass 0-6-0 locomotive. I love the tiny tender. Please post updates as the project continues.
Ed: Your signal bridge is very good looking. I intend to have one signal bridge, over three tracks, on my next layout. NJ Custom Brass imported a perfect model of one, but I don't have it yet.

Awesome stuff thi weekend everyone! Last minute addition from me is that my Kaslo Shops N Scale SD50F Kit is done in the paint shop! Now its time for decals! I started trying to apply some of the decals I had onto a boxcar I recently repainted as practice, but I think I need some new decals because these ones don't like to stay together when being placed! Thanks for sharing everyone, and hope y'all had a great weekend!

As always, a flood of excellent contributions! It has been cooler here in NE Ohio and today is a nice, easy rain. Just perfect for hibernating in the layout room.
Several of my projects this week were not very photogenic. Some routine maintenance on rolling stock, still studying the Digitrax DS64 turnout interface. A quite capable I-O board.
I did get the signal bridge painted and set in place

This signal bridge will be right along an aisle so I tried to make sure the details were tended to.

It is located at the end of a passing siding just before a draw bridge. The indications will be interlocked so that if the bridge is up or the siding switch against you there will be an absolute stop shown.

I really enjoy seeing the various signals around the layout changing their indications as the trains progress. Logic Rail has a new version of its signal animator board which I'm looking forward to trying out.

Not a whole lot from me. I picked up an NCE USB interface and have been playing with that and JMRI, remapping all the functions of different locomotives to roughly match each other even if they are of different manufacture.
I also snagged my missing link locomotive, a brass UP S-class 0-6-0. This is a PFM/United model - a coffee grinder at that!
It needs some repairs on the pilot but the rest of it seems fine. No wheel wear which is what I was most concerned about. It'll likely get a Mabuchi 266 motor and NWSL gearbox to replace the original Pittmann and KTM non-idler gearbox, but I want to consult the repower & regear group before moving ahead. It'll also get a new headlight and mouting bracket on the smokebox cover to match the later configuration, and eventually a TSU-1100 and sugar cube speaker, LEDs, and paint.
I also picked up a PFM catalog to go with it. I thought the cover had a neat east-meets-west vibe and I might eventually frame it.

Nothing new on the BRVRR this week. Here's a photo of a short NYC freight on the layout. The engineer is my autistic grandson who is fixated on steam engines.

Renegade, Union Station is looking just fantastic. That was the last building I stepped in in Colorado when I moved last year, as I traveled to California via the Zephyr before landing in NC. Fond memories of meeting my Denver friends there whenever I'd go visit.
Dan, those rock faces are looking really good-- I love dramatic scenery dwarfing the trains. Thanks for sharing your process, too!
Crossposting a few pictures of my newest trees, a big cottonwood and lots of small aspens-- I did a write-up of the process on my layout thread, as well. Nothing permanent yet as I'm still playing with placement before adding ground debris and fixing them in place, but I think each batch keeps improving and getting more specific in color and shape.

Ringo: Thank you for the compliment. That caboose is a brass model of a NEW HAVEN NE-6 I believe. It did not come with a box. That model looks a llittle "off" from the side, but it looks great in most views. Glad to see that Jack is back in WPF! It must be nice to have a helper for weathering projects. I really like the looks of those SOO LINE trailers in your picture.
Garry: Thank you for the compliment on my photograph. Your F3s are quite a handsome bunch. I love all my Stewart/Kato F units. They make up about 50% of my diesel fleet.
David: It looks like Officer Henderson is taking his duties very seriously.
Renegade: The station... WOW! That was really worth the effort you put into it. None of the clocks in my models work. Instead I set all the clocks to exactly 10:04, and a few people get the joke.
Bear: Thanks for the toon and the chuckle. I have an HO scale Tardis that I drop into scenes sometimes when I photograph them.
Harrison: The benchwork looks fine, and plenty strong enough for the foam. Glad it is working for you.

Nice progress everyone, and thanks, Kevin for the start off.
in light of my recent determination to make visible progress, I've been busy getting on with scenery in the last few weeks. I have scenery experience in some areas, not in others, so I'm having to step out of the comfort zone here.
For a couple years the hardshell remained white and untextured like this. So I did some experimenting with home made latex rock molds on that gray area. Brush painted it unsatisfactorily, seen on the end there.
Moving to the right, Lots more rock mold activity, and better paint results with spray cans. I made molds that I fill with plaster, wait for it to start to set, wet the hardshell and plop it directly on it. Let it harden and peel it off.

Since it's not Mars, a little ground covering and greenery. I made some of the trees a while back, others as I went here. I still have a ways to go on this part of the layout, but it's now in the comfort zone. The WIP structure is a Cornerstone Glacier Gravel kit heavily reworked to make the loading hoppers longer, and other changes. You may note changes to the upper and lower structures in the pics. I recently learned that chromium has been mined in the area I model, so now those ore jennies make more sense. If this is too much stuff for the weekend thread, I can post followup elsewhere. Dan

I finally finished the "Union Station" sign for Denver's Union Station. Now I need to finish up the spotlights for the building. Also I can start on the wing section of the building (this is just the middle part). I do need to finish up the faux interior as well.

Here is the sign lit up. Unfortunately the camera exaggerates the ligting a bit. The bright spots don't show up when viewing it in persion.
After much deliberation (and Peer pressure) I have also decided to make the clock work. I found a micro clock mechanism to run it but it means I have to redo the light board for the clock.

2 Weeks ago I picked up this CNW MP15DC that Jack gave me a hand weathering
As the move comes closer and closer, the time has come for the layout to come down. I am going to power my small diorama I made so I can still fiddle with DCC stuff in the meantime as I'm sure it will be close to a year before I have another layout.
