Walthers once offered O scale decals for L-V steam that were silver. But I can not say which locomotives may have been lettered this way. Maybe only passenger-assigned locos?

I have inherited some steam engines and decals. They are mostly prototypical accurate (close enough) my only question is was valley steam lettering silver or white. Have seen lots of black and white photos but cant tell.
