There is a single turnout (well, part of one) in this scene on the Pasco County Model Railroad Club's HO scale modular layout.

There is a caboose in this scene being used as an office...

So, please show me another train car that is not being used as a train car any longer.

I do not know. It is rare when you can talk to the builder of one of the modules at a train show.
