Flatcar Load?
Posted by BATMAN on Thursday, February 11, 2021 10:37 AM

Now if I put this on a flatcar, someone might say it is hokey and out of scale.

May be an image of text that says 'Frank can you please pass me that 96 15/16 wrench out my toolbox....'

I suppose you could have some fun with that one.  People would say no-way and you pull out the photo.  You can enjoy yourself with that one.

My latest load is more mundane; Wheels of Time makes some crawlers in HO and N which will make a good load.  I've seen a photo with them on a flat on a D&RGW train going up the front range - two on a 50' flat.  Perfect!

The fact the nut is already on the bolt leads me to believe it is art or movie prop. I have seen a few things for the movie/TV industry come in on trains.

That's neater "art" than 98% of "art" I've seen.

Hi Brent,

Judging by the minimal amount of support under the nut/bolt assemblies, I'm betting that they are made of foam. I'd love to have had a job building stuff like that!

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!

That can't be real.

What a bolt out of the blue!
