Well I fixed the problem but it runs like garbage,

Welcome to the pitfalls of '60s and '70s brass.

I know you're fuming at your BLI NW2 but I used the drive and trucks from one of them to get my NYC DES-3 to run without sounding like a coffee grinder.

Some of the other ones, especially anything from Alco Models will have to be remotered and regeared from the ground-up.

Ok, was about to remove couplers when I noticed some very small screws almost compleatly hiden by the trucks and of course black on black did not help. Took it abpart (hope I can get it back together) What I found is the conector between the two trucks, thbe ball on both ends were loose and this thing will not move under only one truck powered. Trying the cheap ACC fix first, next will try the rough it up approch, dont have a third idea.

I'm not at all familiar with that particular model, but most brass diesels on which I've worked had screws in the underbody, which, when removed, would allow removal of the bodyshell.  On some models, those screws could include ones which hold the couplers in place.

If you're still also looking for end-of-car brake gear which you mentioned in another thread (handbrake wheels, gear housings, or brakeman platforms, etc.) you might try to send me an e-mail through the "Conversation" feature of this Forum, as I have lots of such parts to spare.  Be sure to include your e-mail address so that I can reply.

Finally took my first step in programing by changing to an address compatable with dcs51 and even though it sounds great and has a keep alive that will make the sound last over  a min. (I was surprised by this too) but there is something wrong with the drive train, something got jarred in shipment I bet, so anyway first step is remove the shell.
