Hello everyone, i just have a question that probably wont make much sense to you but here it goes....So far on my layout i have used all N scale Atlas code 80 flex track along with Peco code 80 turnouts. Since i began i have wished that i had went with Atlas code 55 instead due to its more prototypical look. My question is this...How or even would Atlas code 55 track work with my Peco code 80 turnouts or would it be too much of a difference? What i was considering was replacing all of the code 80 flex track i currently have laid with code 55 flex track and using my current code 80 Peco turnouts....Would this even work or am i wasting my time? Thank you guys!
Micro Engineering makes code 80 to code 55 rail joiners. They will work fine and are not very expensive.

I'm in the process of laying Atlas code 55 on my hollow core door layout. The stuff looks great, but is a bit fragile. I did build a layout almost 20 years ago using it, so I knew what I was getting myself into!
I think that using code 55 track and code 80 turnouts would look odd. The tie profile is different not to mention the rail height. You would need to shim the flex track off the layout base to line up the top the rails.
i would go all 55 or all 80.

Thanks guys, i think i will just stick with the code 80 for now and not worry about changing it out.....Thanks again!
