I'll bet they are sorry they didn't lock this thread as soon as they posted.

I'm too old to start a new career, but I wouldn't mind working for Jenny or having a less stessful career.   I have friends that live in WI, just east of Minneapolis.  They have a condo in Tampa but are afraid to travel there.

WI is one of 5 states I've never been too.  I would think it too cold, but at this instant, it is 6 degrees cooler in VA, where I live and the humidity is 69% higher.

I'm in Ohio right now, and I'm trying to move to eastern PA for family reasons.

Is playing with trains count as a mandatory part of the workday?

As an experienced editor, this is very compelling. But it would have to be remote as Wisconsin is the opposite direction of where I'm trying to move.

And to where are you trying to move ?

Kinda ironic you say that, one of the coldest days I've been in is up HWY 26 between Casper and Shoshoni Wy (-26).

Yeah, I was being kinda ironic . . .

I was just thinking that when it's 30 below here with 40 MPH wind and no humidity, it might feel colder there when it's 30 below with 40 MPH wind and some humidity. Just wanted to make sure Mark was prepared.

I'm still trying to explain to my peeps in Florida that wool underwear is not as dumb as it sounds.

Hey, maybe I'll apply! I'm about to start scenery on my Casper layout, so I'm going to have to move again for some reason. At least this would be a good one!

Hey Mark -

If you go, make sure to pack your long johns because I've heard it's cold in Milwaukee.

Too old, but I have to admit this sounds like a neat opportunity for a train lover.

Same, only I'm too young. Maybe in a few years...

If the content of MR gets much smaller they may not need someone.

It's little too far of a commute from Staten Island plus I am gainfully employed but thanks for letting us know:

The line in the actual job description and application would lead me to believe it is a job that is performed at headquarters.

"Kalmbach is located in Waukesha Wisconsin, about 20 minutes west of Milwaukee. We offer a customer focused work environment and excellent benefits!"

MisterBeasley
if this job opening is physically located in Wisconsin or if the Brave New World of remote working might be applicable.

Yes, that would be great to know.

No, I'm happily retired and probably not the right guy anyway, but perhaps others might like to know if this job opening is physically located in Wisconsin or if the Brave New World of remote working might be applicable.  The write-up doesn't address that.  Thanks for considering us forum members for this announcement, by the way.
