Everyone is familiar with the Rix Products line of HO scale buildings that are all based around what looks like corrugated steel walls. I would like to scratchbuild some background buildings and wondered if anyone knew of an equivalent styrene sheet that looks like this stuff. That way, I won't have to buy some Pikestuff kits just to cut them up.
Thanks.

The board and batten can also be used as standing-seam roofing or siding, but for my layout, much of it is used as board & batten "wood" siding...

Just an FYI. A lot of the Pikestuff kits are assembled with smaller modules of about 3 x 3 inches. Some have the long wall section, but others are already "cut up" to where you have to put several together to make a long wall.
I think these kits come labeled as "kitbasher series", for just that purpose.

But they do have the pre-fab siding in stock.

Would the Evergreen standing seam metal roofing be close enough?

Plastruct and JTT have some stuff that would seem eligible but are out of stock at Walthers. Now that Walthers makes no bones about not wanting to carry large inventory of small parts and scratchbuilder supplies, sometimes you have to order it and hope for the best. Or find another source. Someone used to make steel seawall piling or cribbing that looked a bit like the metal siding you seek.

Thanks for all the great help!
