I would like to get a couple of ready-to-run wagon top box cars for my layout. I like the way they look for my era (50s and 60s midwest layout). Wagon tops in N Scale seem to be nonexistant even on E Bay. Road name is not real important. Anyone have any suggestions or have any they aren't using anymore? Thanks
Micro-trains has "round roof" boxcars that look like a Pennsylvania prototype.
I had a resin kit for a B&O wagon top in N scale decades ago... far from ready-to-run. I think it was made by Fine-N-Scale.
EDIT: It looks like Fine-N-Scale still makes the B&O wagontop boxcar kit. It is listed on their web site.

On Ebay
Fine N Scale FNR2021 Express Wagontop Boxcar kit
FNR2011 Wagontop Boxcar w Ribbed Door kit
FNR2010 Wagontop Boxcar kit
The FNR kits have resin bodies. They are not as nice as the Fox Valley rtr models but make into decent models. Hardest part of building is cutting out decals which can be hard to see on backing paper
Also a number of MTL rtr models
I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
