I'm trying to determine what size fuel tank I need for a locomotive that I am working on. Some sources say it has a 3200 gal fuel tank, others say it has a 2600 gal tank. All I know is that it should be close to 4.5cm long in HO scale. I don't have any on hand to compare to, does anyone know which one it would be? Thanks!

Hello All,
Da StumerI'm trying to determine what size fuel tank I need for a locomotive that I am working on.
This begs the question, "What specific locomotive?"
Locomotives in the prototypical world might have different size fuel tanks depending on their duties within the railroad despite being of the exact same type.
The more information you can provide in your posts, the better the information the great folks in these forums can give you.
Hope this helps.
"Uhh...I didn’t know it was 'impossible' I just made it work...sorry"
Sorry, should have mentioned that. The locomotive is a South Korean GT26CW-2. These locomotives were equipped with a wide variety of tanks depending on the country that ordered them.
