I'll be travelling (by air) from the NW to Arkansas at the end of the month. As circumstances permit I try to do a little research on LHSs and other model railroad outlets where I'll pass through. Except for the (likely) standard fare in Little Rock's Hobby Lobby, I'm wondering what I'll find a few miles NE of the city at Rail & Sprue in Jacksonville. Any forum participants out there that have been in it? And, are there any out-of-the-way or off-the-grid MR enterprises in the area that are not to be found on-line?
Thanks!
John
My son lives in Little Rock; I haven't found anything that I would deem a train shop there.
In my travels through Arkansas I have never found anything hobby related that would justify a visit.
Do you have any spare time? There are a couple things in Alabama that are worth a trip, but it would be an all-day excursion.
