Fate of Tom Miller's F Scale Model RR?
Posted by Capt. Grimek on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 2:48 PM

Been gone from the forum for awhile. So 2 questions:

l. Does anyone know what happened to Tom Miller's Oregon F Scale Model RR we visited in 2015 at the NMRA Convention? The property was for sale then and I can't find anything online.

2. Having just returned to the forum I was "alarmed" by all the pop up ads. Does anyone know if there is a way on this site to get rid of them? I thought re-registering/signing in, would do it, but guess not.

Thanks. Good to "see" you all again. Stay safe.

2) Management wants you to see the ads and not to use a browser add on like Ad Block Plus

Thanks Big Daddy. How long ago did the pop up ads lst appear? I think I've been gone for about 6 months...

Apparently at least some types of 'ad blocker' systems work, as I don't see any pop-ups when I access the forum with my PC or tablet.

I think it was right before the lockdown, so maybe February.  All these threads get locked or deleted, so I hope you get your answer to the other question.

Me too. ;-)  I think Tom Miller was talking with a local parks system about doing someting with keeping the layout and his outdoor rr.  It's "strange" that I can't seem to find anything about a sale.  It was truly an astounding layout in it's size and scope.
