New Subscription info requested?
Posted by markW on Thursday, April 23, 2020 5:37 AM

Hello,

New member here.

Was hoping that someone might know if this subscription offer includes access to the Digital Library?  The info in the blue box leads me to believe it may, but it doesn't read the same as a regular subscription.

Thank you,

Mark

I'm not sure about the archives.  That is a seperate subscribtion.  If it is now free, because of the virus thing, I hope I get some kind of an extension on my subscription to the archives. It'about an extra $40 a year, above and beyond the regular MR magazine cost.

So...for anyone else who may be interested, here is a reply I received from MR: Thank you for contacting Model Railroader Magazine! I apologize, our special offer listed below for $29.95 includes the print version only. If you would like to sign up for print & archive, we can do this for you! Our print & archive subscription is for $74.95. I apologize for the confusion. Please let us know if we can assist you further! Thank you! Hayley Customer Service

At least a couple times a year, and maybe more, they have a free trial of the archives.  I don't remember is it's for 2 weeks or a month, but it would give you a chance to see if it's useful to you.
