Okay now Ulrich, you have to come up with something really devious and nefarious! The ball is in your court!

However, I won't give in to getting into crossword puzzles, or word searches, or sudoku or anything else that threatens to fry my brain

Sudoku, one of the few things that keeps me going during the Lockdown.

Ed,

Please don't get me started on crossword puzzles! My wife devours at least one word puzzle book each week. One nutcase devotee to mental challenges is enough for any family!

Okay, I will admit that I gave your crossword a bit of a try and you are right. The first few answers were pretty easy. However, I won't give in to getting into crossword puzzles, or word searches, or sudoku or anything else that threatens to fry my brain any more than it already is......

Darn, I'm still trying to resist doing the rest of the crossword puzzle! Ed, you are making a mockery of my personal resolve!!! I feel that I am slowly sinking into a crossword puzzle abyss! Help!!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaughLaugh

Seriously, cheers everyone! Stay safe and resolute! Don't let your emotions overule your need to keep up the fight!

How about something more difficult?

I'm not sure if this will be difficult or not, but it is not something that most modellers will have used:

What's your guess?

Very creative answer JaBear, but not quite on the money!

Based on your theory, you could also add halos to the 'figures' and create a nice Christmas scene!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaugh

This is something I ran up the flagpole in the Diner a while back. Maybe someone on this thread will find it useful? You can download and print from Flickr if desired.

It was my first attempt with this program so is quite simple. Maybe I'll develop a tougher one in the future.

Hi Ulrich,

It is a card connector for a Tortoise switch machine. It even has the proper alignment tabs on either end to make sure it makes proper contact with the traces on the Tortoise circuit board.

Holmes, what brand of track might this be?

Watson, my dear friend, let us summarize what we know! We can rule out Atlas, as well as Peco being the responsible manufacturer of this piece of evidence. This leaves us with Micro Engineering or this new chap in the market, Jason Shron. I think the most important clue we have got, is the fact that Brent, aka Batman, is from Canada. So is Jason. I conlude that the track is Rapido´s Bendy Track!

By Jove, Holmes, you´ve got it!

Happy times!

I use some Atlas code 83 and Shinohara. Don't look like either one of those so I'm going to guess —

Peco?

Not so bored but like to have fun!

Hey, speaking of games. Maybe we could resurrect TF's "I spy" thread. Remember that? Could possibly combine the two?

Cheers, Ed

I thought you would be all over this one Ed, not Peco, sorry.

The I spy game would work and maybe draw more viewers.Laugh
