Hi all,Is there a way to contact an author of a story in MR? Specifically I would like to contact John Stockton-Wood who ewrote the story "A Model Railroad in a Highway Trailer in the Model Railroad Planning 2020 magazine. I went to the digital copy and clicked on his name but that took me nowhere. Any help will be much appreciated.
Not surprisingly MR/MRP/Kalmbach does not publish contact information for its authors. At one time they gave street addresses! Jim Findley was once visiting his friend John Allen and they got to talking or arguing about some model railroading issue and were still at it well after midnight when the doorbell rang - it was a guy who just happened to be in Monterey Calif and wondered if he could see the layout! He got the address from reading MR.
The usual advice is to contact Kalmbach and let them forward it to the author. Of course some MR authors and contributors do visit these Forums, or have friends who do. Perhaps you should retitle this thread "how do I contact MR author John Stockton-Wood?" so those who do know him would be more likely to notice it.
That was an unusual and interesting article in MRP.

i recently got in contact with an author by contacting Steve Otte and providing my contact info.
Steve passes it on to the author and it's up to the author to contact you
