Problem with freight car

Ok, assuming it's Athearn Blue Box here, I've had similar problems - Athearn have a moulding "pin" in the coupler box (used to pu***he mouldings out of the mould) on these cars, so you need to make sure all flash etc is removed before fitting the coupler. Also check that the lid is able to clip on properly - there is usually a little flash around the plastic clips that the metal lid hooks over. Hope this is of some use!

Hey guys

Today I was putting together the freight car that i hate the most ,the covered hopper ( For some reason they never can go together without a fight ) anyways I placed my coupler in the box and I cant get it to spring back and forth does anybody have any tips on what I can do???
