The RPM Valley Forge 2020 meet scheduled for March 26-29th has been cancelled. The recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in nearby Montgomery county Pa. is the reason. Our next meet will be in 2022.  Stay healthy out there. --- Ken McCorry

The Port Charlotte, Florida train show in three weeks is the only train show in Florida I know of in the next four weeks that HAS NOT cancelled yet.

I am self-quarantining/isolating for at least four weeks. I have enough supplies on hand for six.

Greensboro NC show that was this Saturday has been cancelled. Hickory NC in April has also been cancelled. They are planning to rescedule once this "crisis" is over.

The TECO show and swap-meet in Colorado Springs, Colorado (April 18-19) has been cancelled as well, because the ChapelHills Mall that hosts it is Chicken Little-ing over the tempest in a teapot. Even though it's a month away and this whole thing will have probably have flamed-out by then. Thank you media, CDC, and WHO for causing an unnecessary panic and making our lives miserable over a glorified head cold. Nobody did this over the far more deadly and wide spread swine flu outbreak in '09. Bravo!Angry Just my opinion, but I'm getting sick of all of this. The rant is now concluded. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.Wink

We, the Illinois Terminal Division of the NMRA, cancelled the annual Lincoln Square Village Train Show in Urbana, IL. It was scheduled for March 28 and 29. Given the lead times for vendor-supplied items (tables), our membership's and volunteer base's tendency to fall into categories most affected by the corona virus, and the iuncertainties over the course of the pandemic (first local confirmed case of COVID-19 over the weekend also), like many others seem to be doing, it's no time for courage to overcome commonsense.

There may be a fall event of some kind, but most likely we'll see everyone next year.
