That paint scheme was originally supposed to have two horizontal lines and double outside circles so it looked like a wheelset on rails. Kind of like the CONRAIL logo.
It did not look right, so I simplified it.
I hope it can serve you as well as the intended tank car.

About ready to talk with Marv the owner and offer him a deal where I will work weekends with Nancy if he will pay me the same I make working 3 week days. (Weekend hours are shorter) Found a Finance Deal of there where the coustomer applied for $3500.00 but was approved for only $2000.00! Guess what? Yep the $3500.00 purchase was delivered on the 24th of last month! I wonder why they don't return our calls?

My workshop is broken down, and all my train building stuff is packed away. It will probably be 12 months before I am up and running again. Any N scale Four Aces project will be WAY DEEP on the back burner, so don't hold your breath!
Weather front...
This is crazy. It is barely March, and the Sea Grapes are growing in underneath the front window at an incredible pace. The Crape Mytles look like they are getting ready to bloom, 2-3 months early.
We had no Winter this year. There were two mornings in the high 40s, but both those days ended in the 70s.
The Summer weather pattern continued all the way until January with frequent rains and highs in the 80s every day.
They are predicting a return to the Summer weather pattern in two weeks.
Of coarse all the Hurricane Predicters are saying that doomsday will be in 2020. They say 4-6 major storms will hit Florida this year. Well, if their past accuracy is any indicator, that means I am perfectly safe. The Hurricane forecast actually beat out Coronavirus on the evening news.

A regular to go please. Spent time on the layout last night figuring out the main station and wooden shelter that goes across from the freight house. It is on a balloon track that circles the yard so the passenger shelter has to curve to match the track and then i have to kluge the station roof to the shelter to match. Should be fun.
Kevin the progress sounds good. If you can keep the "you're not working so you have time to help me... stuff down good progress is in your future. I suppose I respectfully disagree with your summation of last winter in Fla. When we were in Daytona for the Classic 24, I had my down filled jacket on nearly full time. Usually it is only needed for the 2am to 6am piece when it gets truely cold. Last weekend in sebring was not bad and only had low 40's temps one morning but overall it seemed about like normal. Next up is Sebring again.
That's our red Lotus 23 leading on the banner ad. All for now, back in the shop and trying to catch up projects and paperwork.

Howdy ...
I was in Nashville yesterday for my eye surgery. .... It was cancelled because of a fire in the operating room ! ...... Imagine that ! ... That's a first for me.
So, we drove home before the storms hit.
Very bad torando damage in Nashville area in the middle of the night. Sister and brother-in-law went in their closet for the storm. They are okay. ..... However, their daughter and young family had major damage to their house. Pictures of it look like it was destroyed. Fortunately, they all survived okay. ...... At least 19 storm deaths are being reported in Nashville area.
We had thunderstorms in our location in KY, but not too bad.

They use an alcohol betadine sollution to prep the skin. If it forms a puddle, and they cover it with a plastic sticky drape, it's an issue when they use cautery and it ignites the fumes. It can ignite the paper drapes, which are water resistant, but not flame proof. I had one of those, but it was just a big pop, no injury to the patient.
A fire started by a laser in vocal surgery was always a big concern because it coud burn the endotracheal tube. Never had one of those.
Before my time, there were explosive anesthetics and patients died from explosions sparked by static electricty or cautery that shouldn't have been used.

In New Orleans, that was always bad. They predicted catastrophic storms so often that some people began to ignore the warnings. Year after year storm forecasters predicted the next "big one", and it never happened. Finally, when one did hit, a lot of people were caught.
Another neat Dallas area attraction is a tourist railroad that runs between Grapevine and Ft. Worth. Passengers can get off at Ft. Worth, watch the cattle drive, eat, etc., then board the train for a ride back to Grapevine. I enjoyed it and the grandkids loved it.

More running around today, erands accomplished. The wife has me pulled off on a siding, to build an orial feeder, or two. I don't mind. I did a real "make-shift" poor-excuse-of-a-feeder for last year, this year I promised her an original design, complete with it's own shepards hook, and not sharing space on a couple of already over crowded hooks.
We had a brief snow shower this morning, just as I was heading out to Menards, and I do mean snow shower! the flakes were as big as leaves! I swear! By the time I was done shopping, it was all gone. Thank you! Now the sun is out.
My external drive floppy disc machine arived today. Now some real archiving can begin! I'm terrible at detailed labeling.....who knew these things would go away? and computers would no longer have the drive! Not an excuse for sloppy labeling.....but that's my story, and i'm stickin' to it!
Maybe I'll find the pictures from the Alamo and the River Walk. I do remember while at the Alamo, you werent allowed to take interior pictures, and I think exterior pictures were also limited. I have no clue what it's like there now.

I took a "sanity break" in the train room this evening. I ran trains and then worked on some freight cars.
I made tacos for dinner tonight, and boy were they delicious. I think I should have not put two serrano peppers on each one. My stomach is not happy right now.

Garry, my sister-in-law is a psychologist who treats people dealing with traumatic events. She has been called to travel to Nashville and help anyone dealing with the death and destruction. Good to hear your sister and niece and family are not injured.
In my area, there are quite a few tornadoes each year. Luckily, there are very few people living here, so the tornadoes don't hit too many populated areas. Whenever there is an outbreak, our motels at the interstate become the staging area for the tornado chasers. It's interesting to see their vehicles out there, waiting to go as the storms develop. The vehicles look like something from a Mad Max movie.
