Can anyone tell me where these dam bridges are?
Does anyone else have photos of dam RR bridges or RR bridges incorporated with other structures? It would be something a little different to model.

I've seen this before. I thinks it is on the Algoma Central, Montreal Falls. I also thought somewhere in my internet travels, that someone was building a model of it.
I'll have to look around.

And the winner is Mike!
Here's another PHOTO of it.

Actually Wayne, I cheated alittle. I knew it was the AC, I couldn't remember the name of the location.
I've also seen construction pictures of the dam part. Nothing like the internet for entertainment.
Okay you smartypants, no ignoring the other pic, where is that one? I get friends and family sending me RR pics all the time and they come with no info.
BATMANOkay you smartypants, no ignoring the other pic, where is that one?....
If you're referring to your Espanola link, it takes me to the site of the Waterloo Region Model Railway Club.
Didn't see a dam thing there, other than a nice layout.
You're a card Brent!
Okay, here's a dam you can drive across, so it's also a bridge.
And here's the Dam Bridge! A hundred yards down from the dam.
We took the dam tour and saw the dam bridge, ... I think Judy even got the dam shirt. I should post that one later when I get home.

Nick Masney - owner of Imagine That Laser Art - is building a layout based on the Algoma Central including a beautiful redition of that dam / bridge. Unfortunately, I cannot find any photos of it online.

Maybe that's the one I caught a glimpse of.
I'm home now and here's Judy's dam shirt.
I could have purchased the dam coin but I wondered what I would do with it. Then I regreted not purchasing it later on. I could have kept in my pocket for when I needed to flip it. I could have said heads I win, dam you lose
As someone who ran freight trains across a few high bridges (Moodna Viaduct, Hell Gate), looking at that Montreal Falls bridge (doctorwayne's pic) does not inspire confidence. Can't say why. Maybe it's the curve...

It looks precarious, but it rides well going across. The wife and I took our honeymoon trip on the train to Hearst. The AC is a charming and inspirational line you can still ride. Not too many of those around any more.

I just looked at the Moodna trestle, WOW, the first time across, I'd probably pass out from holding my breath, anticipating getting to the other end!
Hell Gate looks easy and protected compared to Moodna!
I thought he was saying "show me your damn bridges". lol
Really interesting that they have bridges on the dam. Crazy and cool.
