I think that is a question you might have better luck in asking the TREBLE O groups. I have a bunch of Treble O stuff and the last time I had some inquiries I got answers. As time passes they seem to be much less active. Google Treble O and see where it leads, but I would not hold your breath. I think I checked out N scale track about 15 years ago and it was a none starter.
All my Treble O plastic is getting pretty brittle and the bakelite parts in the locos have disintegrated. My boxes of memories reside in the closet and one day when I go and have a look, dust is all I will see.

The Lone Star Treble O Lectric rails were slightly higher than the usuual N scale code 80 rails of today and I think it is safe to assume, that the wheels of Treble O Lectric locos and cars are to thick to pass through switches and the flanges too deep to run properly on N scale rails.
Again, this may be the wrong forum to ask this type of question. Yoy may get better answers in the Classic Toy Train forum.
Happy times!

I've been wanting to get Atlas N True Track to replace my the old Rail on my 2x4 layout from two loops to one, (To fix the issue with the Rail coming off the roadbed, I wanted to try gluing it on with a bit of plastruct plastic weld) I have some Treble O Lectric bits I want to rebuild into an Amtrak F7 from the 70s if Lone Star continued to produce OOO gauge Models to the same standard using Die-cast (The locomotive will be powered by the Rear Truck) my question is, will the old model run on the modern track or would I have to replace the wheel sets with newer slimline nickle silver ones?
