Welcome back I'm glad your layout is chugging along. I got my track laid and wired everything the other night after a 2 year break. Now that I have my new house in order its time for me to play trains until it warms up and that dreaded honeydo list comes back

As you all know I started an N scale layout 2x12 L shape and thanks to all you guys its progressing wonderfully. I had doubts about starting a layout, remembering my HO layout I had 10 years ago. It stuttered and derailed so much I just gave up. Well, I now have my roadbed down and tracks layed. Last night I decided to power it up before I secure the tracks and ballast to see how well the train will run. All I can say is Wow! I used a cheapo Bachmann powerpack(awaiting DCC) and my trainmaster purred like a kitten! No stalls or derails, not even on the switches! And slow speed was incredible! It crawled ever so slowly without ever stopping. I am truly satisfied so far and so happy I decided to get back into MRR!! I'll keep you all updated!
