Walthers 85' G85 flat cars are finally shipping. I received my five today and they while they are in the Mainline series, they are pretty nice.
Here is the Tuscan GTTX flatcar.

Too new, too old. Jedi hand-wave: these are not the droids you are looking for. This forum does have a number of pre-1960's folks so you can let your brains go dead with this model.
The G85 flat cars are going to be of interest to those modeling TOFC between mostly 1960 and 1985, which covers a lot of modelers. Add to that the container VTTX converted between 1984 and 1987 would be of interest to mid 80's through 1990's modelers.
The Walthers G85 is in their Mainline series but actually have a decent amount of detail and are nice looking models. Offered were tuscan GTTX, yellow GTTX, black SP with 2 panel COTS, orange ATSF, green PC and for containers, the early REA green and mid 80's yellow VTTX.
In usual Walthers stingy style, they made too few VTTX and GTTX versions as those have evaporated quickly after they arrived in stock. I preordered my 2 tuscan GTTX, 1 yellow GTTX, 1 SP and 1 ATSF and they arrived last weekend. These should go nicely with the upcoming HO Trainworx 40 trailers, due out finally and hopefully this summer.
Thats a good looking flatcar. I will have to pick up a few of these, thanks for the review.
Speaking of preorders, I preordered the new 2 Walthers D&RGW SD50s, and they just shipped. I should receive them in a couple days.
Its hard to find any D&RGW right now. https://www.walthers.com/emd-sd50-esu-r-sound-and-dcc-denver-rio-grande-western-tm-5501-black-orange-large-rio-grande

Well, I hope it was OK for me to say it was a nice looking model even though it does not meet my needs or interest.
I can appreciate models that do not fit in my chosen era.
