I've been wanting to build a C-41 from a Roundhouse 2-8-0 and a certain model by Tyco for some time now, supplies will be bought soon! (promise!) what would I have to do to get one 100% accurate
I've been thinking of using a Tyco (1980s) chattanooga chassis (with the basic connecting rod design) and smoke unit (as I want it to chuff out plooms of smoke or what it could reasoably handle) plus using the chattanooga's tender as I think that would be appropriate to use with the Roundhouse kit itself, obviously the pilot would certianly have to be modified to match the C-41 design.. suggestions on restoring smoke units would also be nice too by Tyco
A headlight (That works!) would be an interesting idea as well suggestions for what kinds that would be appropriate would be apriciated, I'd like to experiment with a CD motor for use with a battery controller, I may have one (Perfect for my intentions) it is by Tri-ang Railways a 12 volt train controller with two speed variation, yes it takes lantern battries too, has anyone experimented with hooking a Tri-ang Battery controller up to a Kato controller how does it work?
Design will have to be changed, I have a link on my phone for decals ideas
I'm modeling this series called San Juan Branchline, its a series that takes place in california, its a Youtube series that gets many, many, many views daily and I've been hunting for a 40' foot southern pacific Boxcar kit from the (Spoliers!) Dream sequance that Dan goes through, he's the C-41 I'm modeling and the boxcar (Which he should be hauling a caboose, why he doesn't make sense, but so don't dreams) its a comedy Holiday special part of a series thats not so comedy that I've been itching to model for some time!
Thanks for helping out if possible

You're trying to build a "100% accurate" model of a cartoon character?
