If you're planning to exhibit it as part of a group at shows etc., you should talk to the group that you plan to exhibit with. They'll be able to tell you if there are any special local variations or needs. They can also tell you where to get any odd bits that are needed.

All of the 'standard' dimensions are on the NMRA site in the Standards and RP section at: www.nmra.org/standards/
Be sure to read the Introduction as it gives all of the basic info.

Be alert that there are other module setups that have been customized by various clubs.

HO Modual Dimentions

Hi Guys, I want to build an HO modual which I believe is supposed to be 2 x 4 in size to be standard. I need to know if that is the correct size, were the two main lines are possitioned on the layout, height of track from the floor, what type of connecters that are used from table to tableand if I missed anything else that is pertanent to building a modual. Thanks......Jamie
