Ah, December. The month where it's usually in the single digits, and I do some stupid things for trains, like getting blasted with blowing snow coming off Lake Champlain to get this shot.

Lauritzen Gardens, the Omaha botanical gardens, brings their garden railroad inside for Christmas.  It is a very neat display:

The next picture shows a train crossing an elevated bridge above the walkway:

Merry Christmas from flyover country!

a bit of Eliza Dolittle there!

How could I forget "My Fair Lady"! I was in a boys only high school and my English teacher made us sing that stuff! I had to sing the role of Alfie the dustman.

I am getting married in the morning!

How could he! But then - he had been a bosun´s mate on a U-boat during WW II and would not take a no for an answer. One of the very few that came home. Tough breed!

St. Nickolas was placed in the tiny chimney with care

In hopes that his likeness would add holiday flair

Watching the little train cars roll by on their treads

I knew that model railroading would never be dead

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all, regards, Peter

A look at this year's tree, including some of my Hallmark Lionel ornament collection (have the entire series going back to 1996) as well as the Lionel trains around the tree.

And videos from the past few years.

Merry Christmas!

Just a quick note for happy holidays before I take off with the kids.

.

The sun came out today, it is 76 degrees outside, the pool at the resort is full of swimmers, and everything is perfect.

.

We are heading for a theme park for the day. We opened presents last night.

.

I sincerely hope everyone is safe, happy, and with your loved ones.
