Hey Fergie,
For my 2-8-2 I programmed the chuff rate so I got about four chuffs per revolution of the drivers.
This sounds really good at slow and middle range speeds. It is a little fast at top speed.

The Soundtraxx decoders have "built in" speed curves. They offer a wide range of choices and
you can probably find one that suits your needs. I found it a lot easier than trying to program my
own, like I have to do with Digitrax decoders. Good luck. Dave

CV values for a Bachmann 2-8-0 Soundtraxx DSD-LC

I just installed a Soundtraxx DSD in my Bachmann 2-8-0 and started programming CV25 speed curve and 121chuff rate. Though I'm getting closer the Loco is still out of sync. on the lower speed range.

Anyone have values for these CV's already figured out? And can you please tell me.

Fergie
