This is a known issue for quite some time (years?) now. The software used in this forum seems to be incompatible with newer releases of most any browsers around.

I have given up on hoping that Kalmbach will eventually bring this forum up to a "normal" standard.

True

An upgrade is said to be coming next year.

The largest BMW motorcycle dealer in the country got a computer upgrade last month and I was there 45 minutes trying to buy $10 worth of parts.  The salesman, the owners wife and 2 reps from the software company couldn't get the computers to boot up and I left without parts.  I do not have big expectations for a smooth rollout.

I'm just glad the ads are all for train stuff that I might be interested in.  I even click on a Bowser ad once in a while.  Some sites allow popups and loud videos that annoy me and take forever to load.

I know the Search function hasn't worked for years, so I just ignore it.  If you put "cs.trains" in your search string in Google, that will generally get you what you want.

Hello All,

There are definitely compatibility problems with this site and browsers.

I am on a Mac desktop running Catalina 10.15.1, which is the most up to date.

My browser is Firefox 70.0.1, also the most up to date.

I have also tried Chrome and the native Safari with this website.

Unfortunately, I cannot log out of the site- -with any and all web browsers. I can read messages but cannot reply.

Thankfully I can still read and post to this forum.

Hope this helps.

Post Script: I wonder how long it will take for Steve Otte to lock or take this post down?

yes, this site has problems ... it's very usual for it to take quite a long time [several minutes] to respond to queries  ..

it is something that i have gotten used to, well, most times any ways , lol

I am sure Kalmbach outsources their website stuff. It's not like you can go to someone down the hall.

New York Rangers

No offense to the Maple Leaf fan. Both teams are pretty much in the same spot. Not much joy in either city these past seasons.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. This is the one thing that does work well on this site; valuable input from the community. I thought I used to be able to search a while back (I hate posting subjects that were already covered) but maybe it was a few years ago. I don't know where time goes!!!

Yeah that's true but at least your club can use the excuse of "rebuilding". We are maxed out on salary cap and the results are a .500 place team in the standings? unacceptable.
