Did anyone else have any problems logging in and staying logged in on the forums yesterday (11/25/19) in the late afternoon? I was able to log in on the MR Home page, but everytime I went to the forums section it logged me out. I tried to log back in, but it wouldn't go. But, when I went to the Home page  I could log in, and I was able to stay logged in on everything but the forums section. Just trying to figure out if it was the site or something weird with my browser.(Firefox)

I've had the same problem.  It's not Firefox, I also tried with MS Edge - same result.

Seems to come and go - I've had it more than once, but haven't been counting.

It works in PMs, maxman; just not in posts. Tongue Tied  IIRC, that's been absent since 2012 or before...

I don't bother to log out so I don't experience any login issues.  That said, the MR server does experience daily slow downs that can delay getting onto the forum, which is annoying.  It used to happen regularly between 7:00 & 8:00 AM EST.  Lately it's been better but it still happens.

Yea, I hope the software upgrade early next year(?) will help fix not only the current issues with the forum but functionality that we used to have but haven't had for years.  Presently the search function is useless and you can't upload a new avatar.  As of a couple of weeks ago I can no longer move threads.

For some reason I can't edit my user profile. I want to change my signature, but it won't let me,

Nice being able to post after three days of issues.  I log in and then it asks to log again.  So annoying!

I don't get updates to threads that I have subscribed to. This happens every few months, then all of a sudden I will get a few hundred up dates.

Hopefully the upgrade will fix things, because it seems like whatever software the site uses has been having a lot of hickups as of late.

I don't actually get logged out, it's just that forum pages never load.  That happens several times a week.  This morning 11/26 there was an actual error message visible on al the Train sites.

An upgrade is coming next year.
