I went today and when I saw how long the line was to get in I nearly turned around and went home. It is the first time I have ever waited in line to get into a train show. I did wait and it only took 20 minutes to get in and I had a couple of fellow enthusiasts to talk to so it wasn't bad. Next year I will buy my ticket online before I leave as the smart people do.
It is a good show and well worth the drive.
The only thing I bought was a pair of bending pliers (not sure what they are really called) There is a guy there that sells all kinds of really useful weird tools and I have bought many from him over the years.
Next year I will get there around noon so the crowds have thinned out a bit.

It was worth the drive.

Next weekend there will be a train Show in Vancouver which is called Vancouver Train Expo. At that time I will be a two hours drive from Vancouver. How big and how interesting is that Train show? Does it worth a four hours drive back & forth?
