Went for the first time it was great layouts things and trains for sale even rapido trains there with a full scale ttc bus. I only bought a boxcar from moloco trains beautiful detail. Anyone else have one?
Yeah I was in town for the show and caught a good deal on a CNR U4a with DCC for only 150.
Whos it made by? Wife wouldnt let me spend much.
It got a Bachmann Spectrum chasis but the body on it is either cast metal or Brass. It rather heavy. The box say Jim on it. The person i brought it from also had 2x CNR 4-8-2, a 6060 bullet nose betty. All under 300 dollars with dcc and some with dcc sound. If i had a way to i would upload the picture for the U4A
My club, the Barrie Allandale Railway Modellers, had our portable layout at the show. My job is to haul the trailer that holds the layout. On Sunday afternoon I backed the trailer up to the large overhead exit door which was right beside our layout. I was concentrating on backing the trailer into the proper position so that the other half of the door would not be blocked. Unfortunately I misjudged the distance so instead of having to knock on the door with my hand, I knocked on the door with the back of the trailer! Fortunately I only left one tiny dint, but I think the club members, all of whom heard the 'clunk', might now be a little more skeptical of my driving abilities.
By the way, I have a bone to pick with the Greater Toronto Train Show! They claim to be the "largest" show in Ontario, which they are strictly from a square footage perspective. However, our show draws in close to 50% more people, and we manage to do that in the middle of February in Barrie, Ontario! The weather has actually been quite cooperative the last few years. Let's hope for the same next year.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
