Show me your largest rail served business, please.

At 78" in length, GERN Industries is the largest on my layout, and also the biggest generator of traffic for the railroads serving it....

...the modelled portion represents about 2/3 of the plant's size, not counting the mine, which extends out, under Lake Erie, for about 2.5 miles, and still growing due to the boom in the world's demand for high quality flux.

Show me more of your largest industries, please.

A quick project:

Took this of the layout for a minor repair, then decided to replaced the old decoder with a Tsunami 2. I should have it back together for this week's WPF.

Show me your largest rail served business, please.

Show me another project in progress.

A few weeks ago I had this orphaned corner of the layout:

 Chem_plant-bare by Edmund, on Flickr

Recently I've been inspired to turn it into a chemical plant, possibly a bag balm and sheep dip factory.

 Chem_view1 by Edmund, on Flickr

 Chem_pave-tar3 by Edmund, on Flickr

Let us continue with "works-in-progress" please.

The most recently "completed" item on my layout is this modified Korber roundhouse....

However, there's no ground cover or details around it, and the turntable needs to be modified to improve its performance.  Both the turntable and the roundhouse are useable, though, and hopefully will look better when their surroundings are done.

Show me a project in-progress, please.

It's called my layout... mostly the self section, where track needs to be cut and fitted better before scenery.

....I think we are still looking for a SOUTHERN PACIFIC in the "Black Widow" paint scheme.

Apparently, that Espee diesel is having some mechanical issues and is unable to make an appearance.

Here's a stand-in, one of my Genesis Mikados, in black and yellow...

Show me the paint scheme on one of your freelanced locomotives, steam or diesel, please.

We are approaching Halloween, how about an orange hopper, smooth or ribbed, open or closed.

Orange is the new Black Yes

(Possibly a foobie but nice to look at just the same. [edit] Actually, I did find one photo of three Waddell hoppers in orange paint scheme! )
