Same here, very frustrating knowing all the Good Stuff I was missing.
I feel your frustration, though it seems that EVERYONE was unable to log on, so I don’t think we missed anything...
Regards, Isaac

Hey, we're back! Nice work everyone, but will keep this quick. A video of my newly-DCC-powered Loon Lake Line Shay #1, from the collection of local HOn3 pioneer and long-time Illinois Terminal Division NMRA member, Bob Miller.
Loon Lake Line One- Into the Quarry from Mike Lehman on Vimeo.
Bob donated half a dozen exquistely hand-laid Timesaver modules in various gauges/scales, inlcuding On30, HOn3, and HOn30 to the ITD. A couple of dozen scratchbuilt cars and a bunch of structures were also included, as was a nearly complete run of Model Railroader. A selection of this trove of old school scale artistry will be on display at next spring's Lincoln Square Train Show on March 28 and 29, 2020. We thank Bob's family for their enormous generosity and will use it to inspire and educate a new generations of model railroaders.

Jimmy,
If you are talking about the pickup with the doggie, I believe it is an Atlas model. Its been around so long I don't honestly remember.
Remember its your railroad

My offerings this week
Great stuff this week
Thanks for starting the thread Rick. Good work as always.
Alan-Neat scene- is that an Atlas pickup?
Garry-The layout looks as great as ever
Kevin-Amazing scene, and that backround looks good
This is all I have this week-
The flextrack comes tomorrow. Well, also of note- I powered the layout pieces I have laid out so far, and well....everything works

These are the opinions of an under 35 , from the east end of, and modeling, the same section of the Wheeling and Lake Erie railway. As well as a freelanced road (Austinville and Dynamite City railroad).
Rick: Great job on the C&O boxcar. Those older IMXW kits have some limitations, but they can be built into very nice models. You are 100% correct about the roofwalk upgrades on the covered hoppers being worth the effort. Nice!
Allan: That is a very good picture of the train under the bridge. You can never have too many pictures of ATSF warbonnets.
Garry: I showed my wife the picture of the gray F units in front of the beautiful houses in Valley Heights. She immediately recognized the buildings and loves the scene. I knew she would.

Nothing new from me again this week... next week... I promise. I am still out on the road and enjoying Florida.
Here is a picture on the STRATTON AND GILLETTE. It looks like Autumn is near.
Keep the photos and fun coming. I love this thread.

Thanks for starting off WPF Rick.
Here is one from my play-time a few days ago: Santa Fe F7 334 passes under the Route 32 overpass at the head of a short streamlined passenger train.
Keep the photos and ideas coming guys. Thanks to you WPF is always the best thread of the week.
Good morning from sunny and mild Northeast Ohio!
This is the thread where modelers can show their finished models, in progress photos of models or just photos of their layouts.
I completed a couple of cars this week.
First is a IMWX 40' 1937 AAR Boxcar Kit, substitued metal sill steps from Yarmouth Model Works for the plastic ones and a Viking Roof from Des Plaines Hobbies, car was painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and letter with Speedwitch Media Decals. The orginal car was delivered in 1936 with black ends and roof, but this is a late 40's repaint in all boxcar red and the C&O for Progress herald added, car was in general service.
Finished the 6th Canada Wheat Board 4550CF Covered Hopper kit with a Plano Roofwalk added in place of the plastic roofwalk (what a difference). Car was painted with a 75%-25% of Scalecoat II Reefer Yellow-Boxcar Red and then Black Paint and lettered with Herald King Decals. Cars were purchased by the Gov't of Canada and not the railroads due to the 1870's Crows Nest Agreement could not charge enough to justify purchasing new cars to get rid of the ancient 40' box cars then in grain service.
Picture of my Athearn GP38-2's with a coil steel train on the Strongsville club layout. Which will be open this weekend for the Historical Society Harvest Festival.
Thanks for looking!
